PreK Blue Nature Walk

Students were out on a nature walk and collecting things to make a collage, but it just so happened that it was perfect time for when Mrs. Katers and Ms. Gencheff were harvesting things in the school garden! Mrs. Katers graciously took the kids on a tour of the gardens, pointing out all the different plants. She showed us that potatoes grow in the ground and where she digs them up. She even let the kiddos pick some flowers, and they got to smell and taste basil and mint. It was an unexpected, unplanned, wonder-filled encounter!
